LIKE AN AUTHENTIC FAN
This is how we lived directly in front of TH.
The first time is always special, but this one was magical.
Bill, Tom, Georg, and Gustav came to Spain and did not let us down.
Our nerves took over our stomachs as we made our way to the most anticipated concert. The shouts of “arriba TH” (“yeah” or “go” in Spanish) sounded through the public, and finally started what would be a very intense night…..
They jumped on stage with an energy that transmitted their urge to perform.
While they linked songs, winks, and special effects, our legs could not stay still.
We could not stop jumping, and Bill encouraged us not to stop!
With our throats hurting from so much singing, the time came for Scream!, and that’s what we did, scream. But there was still much to come. “are you good??” asked Bill smiling. (as in “are you ok”)
The show continued. With Don’t Jump , and Ready, Set, Go! we went crazy, while Reden gave us goose bumps. “I dedicate it to my brother “, said Bill.
The night was coming to an end, but there was one hymn left: Monsoon. With the little voice we had left, we accompanied them. After one more song, came Rescue Me, with which they said good-bye.
Before leaving, Bill threw his towel out into the public, Tom and Georg their picks (guitar), and Gustav some drum sticks. Then, everyone was clapping, engraving the image in our memories.
We finally saw them, and with the great welcoming they got, they are sure to come back soon!!

TOKIO HOTEL “Success is a drug”

In black, with dark sunglasses, and a smiling “Hello”. This is how the Germans appeared, who put Spain head over heels on an unforgettable weekend. After that, 15 minutes with them……
Willkommen!! Delighted to see you again around Spain…
Bill: As are we!! The fans here are great. Besides, we are told we are having great success here, so we are really happy.
Yeah, in bits. How is Barcelona?
B: It was a really nice concert. The crowd had gone many days lining up waiting to see us, so we are in much disbelief.
Sure, we waited a long time, and after what happened in Madrid…..
B: Yeah, we are really disappointed, but it was inevitable. (referring to the cancelled concert in Madrid)
Don’t worry, we understand. Bill, are you fully healed now?
B: Yes, I can finally say everything is back to normal! It was a hard time In our career! The last couple of days I was really touched. Besides, it’s really scary to have to be poked in your vocal chords. Now we are right back on track!
Yeah, you guys seem to be on quite of a trot….
B: We are addicted to work, hahahaha. We have been going almost three years without stopping. We only have two weeks of vacation a year, but it’s what we wanted.
Would you rather prefer a bit more calmness?
Tom: We have our agenda booked, and yes, sometimes we just can’t do it anymore, like when we travel to three different cities in 24 hours.
That’s how it was here: Friday the 27th in Barcelona, Saturday the 28th in Madrid….
B: …and Sunday in Lisboa!!! But playing in events like Rock in Rio is mind-blowing.
Sunday the 29th? You missed the final match between Spain and Germany? You guys didn’t come out so well. Hahaha
Gustav: Yeah, the truth is that I bet 3-2 in favor of Germany, of course.
You don’t have the Eurocup, but you do have fame, money, and girls….
B: We are still lacking some of those things, huh? (as in “right?”) Hahaha. The four of us are still single! We always have our dreams present and success hooks us. Its like a drug you always want more of: more glory, more concerts..
So, single. Well here it was rumored that Bill was with the Majorcan Monica Sanz….
B: Hahaha! No, I am alone, and its been that way for three years, so……
Do you think that the fan phenomenon that surrounds you could ever fade away?
B: Certainly. But we know what it is like to live without it. That is why we appreciate it so much and hope it lasts! Worse times could come, but it is an incentive to continue.

“On the 17th of March, one word transformed our smiles into tears: CANCELLED. What now? The response did not take long, June 27th.
Once again that sensation, luggage and a smile from ear to ear. The story repeated itself: hugs, reunions, tears…..
Looks of disbelief towards the Palau, and at 19:30 (7:30) the doors opened. How could you not cry? At 21:30 (9:30) the lights turned off, and, all of a sudden, four guys jumped onto the stage,
Break Away dropped like a bomb. It was them! It wasn’t a video form the thousands posted by Germans, French….. It was our video, our concert, where Leb die Sekunde had more meaning than ever.”

“Barcelona was filled with fans united under a single motto: it’s our turn!! Thousands of fans crowded in front of the Palau, not believing our turn had come.
Our excitement could not be described. We were too nervous, it was only a matter of time before we could hear them live.
Some simple chords unleashed a revolution. Jumps, screams, tears…. In that moment it was us and them. No one else!
After an impressionable spectacle, TH disappeared leaving behind them waves of tears. But this time, tears of joy.
The two hours of concert were five seconds. And now we hope to repeat those emotions that we will not forget.”
